CPR / AED & First Aid Training

Training Calendar

Suncoast Safety Council now provides National Safety Council world-class first aid and CPR training!

Suncoast Safety Council conducts CPR and First Aid classes throughout the greater National Safety CouncilTampa Bay area. Courses are either taught in class at our Clearwater or St. Petersburg location, or on-site at your facility.

Consider these facts:

  • 25% of all emergency room visits can be avoided with basic first aid
  • Sudden cardiac arrest represents 13% of all workplace deaths
  • Nearly 5 million workers were injured on the job in 2012, costing companies $198.2 billion

Choose the Expert!

Many providers don't offer the comprehensive training needed to meet OSHA First Aid Standard 29 CFR 1910.151. Don't put your employees' safety at risk. Choose the expert in occupational first aid and CPR training.

Participants will learn:

  • Take action in a medical emergency
  • Assess the victim
  • Provide basic life support, including airway management, breathing and circulation

Reasons to Train Onsite

Customized: OSHA requires site-specific training for compliance and requires your employees to be trained on their own machinery.

Flexible: You choose the date, time and location. Our trainers are available workdays, evenings and weekends. Training can even be presented in modules to meet your shift challenges.

Experience: Even competent safety professionals can't be expected to be knowledgeable on all safety topics and training requirements. Our instructors have been carefully chosen for their experience, as well as their years of formal education.

Record Keeping: All participants receive certificates of completion and/or wallet cards for successful completion of coursework. Competency tests are administered to document proficiency. The Council maintains back-up copies of all training documentation.
