Access the Online Safety Video Library & Member Discounts

Suncoast Safety Council digital membership will help you maintain and further develop your company safety program. An effective safety program means more than an injury free workplace. It can also result in lower medical, worker's compensation and insurance costs, a more dedicated workforce, less litigation, and increased profits. In short, an effective safety program means a stronger company with a stronger bottom line.

Digital members can take advantage of these benefits:

FREE Workplace Resources & Training Materials

  • FREE Online Safety Video Library - Free unlimited access to our streamed, online Safety Video Library of 600 titles, many of which are in Spanish and all of which are closed captioned. These videos run approximately 15-30 minutes, and can be viewed as often as you wish. They are perfect for group training, especially your routine safety briefings. (They're so good we use them in our OSHA training classes.)

FREE Driver Performance Analysis System (DPAS) for Business

  • 3 FREE DPAS Assessments - Three free Driver Performance Analysis System (DPAS) digital evaluations per membership year. DPAS has been utilized by fleet operators, insurance agencies, and hiring managers for years to accurately evaluate individual driver knowledge and behavior, and predict a driver's crash probability. We feel this is an essential pre-hire tool when you're hiring new drivers or trying to evaluate current ones. Call for more information!

Access to a Safety Professional

  • Free telephone safety consultations for general occupational safety and health and Federal OSHA questions. We cannot address state plan state regulatory issues.

Safety Sentinel E-newsletter

  • SSC's Monthly Safety Sentinel E-newsletter that helps keep you abreast of current safety trends and issues.

Reasons to Train Onsite

Customized: OSHA requires site-specific training for compliance and requires your employees to be trained on their own machinery.

Flexible: You choose the date, time and location. Our trainers are available workdays, evenings and weekends. Training can even be presented in modules to meet your shift challenges.

Experience: Even competent safety professionals can't be expected to be knowledgeable on all safety topics and training requirements. Our instructors have been carefully chosen for their experience, as well as their years of formal education.

Record Keeping: All participants receive certificates of completion and/or wallet cards for successful completion of coursework. Competency tests are administered to document proficiency. The Council maintains back-up copies of all training documentation.
